Newtown and District Male Voice Choir come from all walks of life, not only from Newtown, but also the surrounding areas of Mid Wales and Shropshire.

Founded in 1951 – Originally known as the Cedewain Gleemen, it presently numbers some 45 choristers drawn from all walks of life, some from Newtown itself, but mostly from the surrounding communities.

The choir holds its practices every Tuesday evening at the ‘Royal Welsh Warehouse’ (Pryce Jones Building), Kerry Road, Newtown between 7.30pm and 9.30pm.

If you enjoy music and singing of all genres from Wales and around the world please feel free to join us. New members are always very welcome.
